Criteria for Eligibility: applicants must conform to all criteria within their category
Students
Residing in Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex or Cambridgeshire.

Accepted or provisionally accepted for training or study in agriculture or a related subject.

Not eligible for State Funding.

Farming Education
The individuals or organisations requesting grants must be based in, or have definable links with, Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex or Cambridgeshire.
Research
Postgraduate students must be under the supervision of a senior research leader at an appropriate centre within the UK.

The research must be of definable benefit to farming in the Eastern Counties.

Research Scholarship
The Chadacre Agricultural Trust is offering a three-year research scholarship, in memory of Perry McClean, who was Administrator for the Trust from 1991 to 2001.

Research leaders are invited to submit details of a programme of research which will ultimately benefit farming in East Anglia.

Public Education
The objective of the project must be the improvement of public understanding of farming, food or related matters.

Projects must be based in Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex or Cambridgeshire.
