Grants: Students |
Grants are provided on a competitive basis to such persons as the Governing Body shall think fit to enable them to research or study the theory or practice of agriculture and farming, and related subjects.
Grants are awarded for the relevant certificate, diploma, degree, and higher degree courses. In keeping with the ethos of the original Chadacre Institute, priority is given to those studying practical training courses which prepare them for employment on farms. In particular, grants are awarded for continuing professional development, relevant skills training and apprenticeships leading to qualifications such as BASIS, FACTS and for practical skills intrinsic to farm operation, including tele-handling and chainsaw use. Grants are given only to individuals who are not eligible for state funding. The application forms provided by the Trust require full details of the course, its duration and cost, and a curriculum vitae including the education and employment records of the applicant. To apply for a Grant Application Form, please check the criteria for eligibility and, if eligible, submit the form. The personal information provided by applicants will be held in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation. Photo courtesy of Chadacre Agricultural Trust. |
